-Enjoy a hot shower with standard water pressure, just like at home, thanks to our small gas-powered water heater.

-The bathhouse includes a sink with hot and cold water at standard pressure.

-For your convenience, we offer a porta-potty toilet with a regular toilet seat.

Sample Itinerary

Day 1: Arrival in Dolan Springs, AZ

Arrive in Dolan Springs, AZ, and settle into your accommodation, at The HUB @ Grand Canyon West!
Relax and enjoy the unspoiled desert scenery.

Day 2: Explore Dolan Springs & Stargaze

Start your day with a hearty breakfast in town at the Canyon Cafe.
Explore Dolan Springs itself. While it's a small town, you can find local shops and get a sense of the community. Check out the local Honey sold at Dolan Station!
Consider taking a scenic drive around the area, exploring the desert landscape. There is so much beauty! If you have a 4x4 vehicle there are a LOT of fun back-roads to explore.
In the evening, enjoy a stargazing session. Hang out on the deck of the dome, let your eyes adjust and take in the splendor of our very own galaxy! The Milky Way!!!

Day 3: Grand Canyon West

After breakfast, head to Grand Canyon West, which is about a 50min drive from The HUB.
Visit the Grand Canyon Skywalk, a glass-bottom bridge that extends over the canyon for breathtaking views.
Explore Eagle Point and Guano Point, two scenic viewpoints along the West Rim of the Grand Canyon.
If you're feeling adventurous, consider booking a helicopter tour for a bird's-eye view of the Grand Canyon.
In the late afternoon, return to Dolan Springs for a relaxing evening by the fire pit on the deck.

Day 4: Outdoor Adventures

Start your day early and venture out for a day of outdoor activities.
Go hiking on the nearby trails just 200yards from the dome. Enjoy beautiful desert splendor just minutes from the dome. These trails are very easy, very little elevation gain / loss and offer spectacular scenery. A great warm up for the day!
Explore the Mt. Tipton wilderness area just behind the dome for the more adventurous explorer. No real trails, just free hiking your own path. Explore to your hearts content! Can you make it all the way to the peak!??? (Navigation skills required)
If you enjoy water activities. You can book a kayaking or rafting trip on the Colorado River, which offers a unique perspective of the landscape. Contact Desert Adventures to schedule.
Spend the evening around a campfire, sharing stories and enjoying the peaceful desert night.

Day 5: Lake Mead and Hoover Dam

Drive to Lake Mead, which is approximately 50mins from The HUB @ Grand Canyon West.
You can go boating (boat required), fishing, or simply relax by or swim in the water.
Visit the Hoover Dam and take a guided tour to learn about its history and engineering.
Return to The HUB in the evening.

Day 6: Departure

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at Canyon Cafe before packing up and heading to your next adventure!
Depart from The HUB and head to your next destination.
